Tahu Petis
this is traditional snack from Semarang. this is fried tofu with petis (black sauce that is usually made from shrimp) that inserted in the middle of tofu. it's like pong tofu but it's not salty. the tofu come from white/original tofu that fried until the color change become brown with garlic and saline solution and the petis' taste is sweet and a little salty. it is also can be eaten with ceyenne pepper. it is a yummy food because it has characteristic flavor of shrimp. if you want try this one visit Semarang city and you can eat this one until your stomach full.
